Ingredients
- Shortbread Layer:
- 1 stick ünsalted bütter melted
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 cüp sügar
- 1 egg room temperatüre
- 1 1/2 cüps all pürpose floür
- Caramel Peanüt Layer:
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cüp brown sügar
- 1 stick ünsalted bütter
- 4 tablespoons dark corn syrüp
- 1 cüp peanüts roasted
- Chocolate Layer:
- 8 oz chocolate chips
- 1 cüp heavy whipping cream hot
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrüp
Instrüctions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Shortbread Layer:
- Line an 8 x 8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, so it overhangs on two sides as handles for easy removal.
- Add salt and sügar to a large bowl and whisk to combine.
- Poür the hot melted bütter over the salt and sügar, mix üntil combined. Whisk in the egg and mix üntil combined.
- üsing a spatüla, stir in the floür and mix jüst üntil incorporated. The doügh will be very thick, almost like play doügh. This is ok, if needed üse yoür hands to incorporate last bits of floür.
- Press doügh into the bottom of the prepared pan. Poke holes with a fork and bake for 15 minütes.
