- Frozen Puff Pastry, thawed
- 1 cup of Goat Cheese
- Salt and Pepper
- 1.5 Tsp. Herbs De Provence
- ½ Cup of California Walnuts, chopped
- Honey
- 1 Egg
- Fresh Thyme Sprigs
Instructions
- heat kitchen appliance to 425 degrees.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut eight 5” circles out of the dough. Use a knife to get a ¼-inch-wide border around every pastry circle.
- Fill the middle of every circle with regarding two tablespoons of chevre then season with salt, pepper and sprinkle equally with Herbs Diamond State French region.
- Divide and place cut walnuts within the center of the chevre, and so drizzle the highest with honey; repeat for every pastry circle.
- in a very little bowl, whisk along one egg with a teaspoon of heat water to make AN egg wash; use a pastry brush to brush the egg wash on the surface border of the puff pastry.
- Bake for twenty minutes, till pastry is golden brown. take away from kitchen appliance and prime with sprigs of recent thyme and drizzle with further honey before serving.
